New uniform - setting a high expectation:

We are pleased that everyone at Holy Spirit, our staff and governors, pupils and parents are delighted with our new uniform. The intention was to make our pupils look the best dressed children in the area - and we believe we have achieved this comfortably.

Children feel a great sense of pride and self esteem looking so good and they take these positive traits into their school work. The first task was to ensure that we had a new crest to provide identity, with the previous uniform lacking any such crest or badge. We think it looks really smart, the 1955 a nod to the school's 60 years, and our latin motif of 'Veni Sancte Spiritus (Come Holy Spirit) symbolising class and quality. We wanted to keep the traditional blues in our colour range out of respect for history and tradition. A return to a shirt and uniquely designed tie is also popular whilst the girls use of Bedfordshire tartan also provides an additional wow factor.

If you are new to the school, take a look at some photographs of the new uniform - we are sure you will be impressed!
